Nestled in Zapopan, just 25 minutes from Guadalajara, Hacienda Santa Lucía was established in 1630 and is one of the largest and oldest haciendas in Jalisco. The estate historically produced corn, wheat, barley, and maguey, and housed a mezcal factory called La Taberna.
The chapel, consecrated in 1690, remains a central feature. The grounds include preserved ruins, gardens, and courtyards, reflecting the colonial architecture and scale of the hacienda.
